Free guide: How to divorce on friendly terms (for your children!)

- even if your soon to be ex-husband or wife is being difficult or pushing your buttons!

So how much does it cost?

I know that dissolving your marriage is a stressful enough of a process without you having to worry about mounting legal fees...

...and by that I mean legal fees charged on a 'per hour' basis, which is the way most law firms charge.

So I only offer fixed price divorce services.

And my shared lawyer amicable divorce service means you'll save thousands of pounds compared to what it would cost to instruct separate lawyers.

And tens of thousands of pounds compared to what it would cost to take your husband or wife to court to agree your financial split!

Which fixed price service is the most suitable for you depends on whether you want to agree how to split your finances yourselves (our 'consent order only' amicable divorce service).

Or whether you want me to help you to decide on how to divide up your assets in a way that's fair for both of you (my 'divorce negotiated' amicable divorce service).

Consent Order Only Service

My 'consent order only' service is for you if you've already agreed how you want to split your finances and you are both happy that what you've agreed is fair.

You need to be in total agreement to choose this option.

  • I will draft your consent order in accordance with how you want to split your finances.
  • I will help you with the legal paperwork you'll also need to submit your draft consent order to the court.
  • You understand that if a Judge considers your proposed consent order to be unfair to either of you, then he or she can reject what you've agreed and refuse to grant you a legally binding consent order.
  • And you accept that if what you've agreed is rejected by the Judge, then you'd have to go back to the drawing board.

£600 per person

including VAT

(or £1200 per couple)

(Please note, neither of these options includes the £53 fee the court will charge you for submitting your consent order to a judge for approval)

Divorce Negotiated Service

My 'divorce negotiated' service is for you if you want a fair divorce but you aren't sure what 'fair' looks like.

And you need legal advice to agree how to split your finances fairly.

  • My 'divorce negotiated' service will give you reassurance that what you agree together is fair.
  • You'll receive a joint legal advice from an independent expert family law barrister on what the parameters are for a settlement that a Judge would consider fair.
  • Knowing what 'fair' looks like, you'll feel empowered to agree a fair deal together as part of my lawyer-led negotiation sessions.
  • This is our optimum service for ascertaining what a court would consider a fair divorce in your particular circumstances.
  • A far cheaper option than risking drawn out, acrimonious and potentially very expensive court proceedings!

£2,500 per person*

including VAT

(or £5,000 per couple)

* Less than half the price of using separate solicitors!

Thank you so much for making this happen. I'm very happy that we have finally got to an amicable agreement.

It's all quite overwhelming. I've just been taking in the finality of it all, over this weekend.

Again, thank you for your efforts and your patience. You got it done! "
